What to do if you have been harmed
- Call law enforcement and make a report about what the other party did, but ask to speak to your attorney immediately before continuing if you feel you are being investigated. Ask for a copy of any accident report and make corrections as needed without admitting fault.
- Get the contact information from witnesses.
- Get immediate and thorough medical attention.
- Document your injuries and describe in detail to doctors
- Get all necessary tests done and follow through on rehab appointments.
- Don't give any statements to any insurance company including your own, before speaking with an attorney.
